The Day the World Changed

Genbaku Dome, August 6, 1945

On August 6, 1945, the Atomic Bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan. Seventy thousand people died instantly.

Please remember those who died, those who survived and suffered for the rest of their lives and those who fought to preserve our freedoms.

Pray that it never comes to this again.

I just finished reading "Black Rain" a few months ago. I highly recommend it. It's one of those books that changes your worldview, if only a teensy bit. Love that kind of book.

Thanks for the tip. I am always looking for new perspectives. Every story associated with this tragedy is unbearably sad.
