It is really a case that can cause you to question your faith. Why do these wonderful people end up suffering this horrible disease?

I do find comfort in the fact of having at least known her, but sometimes that is cold comfort indeed.Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10106720865034468249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-113531471647083299.post-55266546422781114072011-08-09T08:12:27.289-04:002011-08-09T08:12:27.289-04:00Sheila sounds like she was a wonderful woman Marie...Sheila sounds like she was a wonderful woman Marie. You were blessed to have her in your life, even for such a relatively short time:)

Cancer does suck - it took over 2 years for my father to succumb. Tough times; I hope I never have to see any of my close family go through that again:(Jane Turleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01441332018679664175noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-113531471647083299.post-35064301540645515962011-08-05T14:49:39.007-04:002011-08-05T14:49:39.007-04:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-113531471647083299.post-23972370829498142122011-08-05T13:11:28.297-04:002011-08-05T13:11:28.297-04:00Thanks for your kind words. And I vividly remember sitting side by side at Sheila's funeral.

Well, old friend, you know this stuff as well as anyone. You knew Sheila and what she was like. And, unfortunately, you also know now what she went through. The treatment is slightly more refined now and frequently more successful, but no less brutal to endure. I am so, so glad your outcome has been different, but I'm sorry you had to experience it. Cancer does totally suck.

I follow a great blog written by a woman from Nebraska and her experience with breast cancer. She's got a great sense of humor and she is a strong patient advocate. It also took away my twin sister in 2008.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07742935336463111471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-113531471647083299.post-21754960436553537742011-07-30T10:03:12.835-04:002011-07-30T10:03:12.835-04:00What a loving tributeWhat a loving tributebrokenteepeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06907414560986208401noreply@blogger.com
